Default Custom Fallkniven H1
I've had the blade for a couple of years and got the wood from Craig Stevens out of Alaska. The blade is a VG10 Laminated Stainless H1 Pattern from Fallkniven. The handle is dyed and stabilized Massur Birch Burl. Pins and lanyard tube are stainless. Blade is 3-3/4", OAL is 8-1/4" and the thickness of the blade is 3/16". This sucker is heavy! LOL!

Very nice handle job....what's going on there in the choil area? I've never seen that before....did they want a guard to go in there??

The handle material is supposed to fit flush with the flat area by the choil. Ijust wasn't paying attention and really don't want toknock such expensive handle material off.

Not as professionally done as yours, but this was an old H1 as well.... the model with a rubber handle. I wanted a finger guard so I cut off the rubber & reshaped it in fossil whalebone & mammoth ivory. Shaped it to fit my hand... doesn't much look like an H1 any more...

I have read a lot of good reviews on Falkniven knives and there extreme sharpness from the factory
